Although terrorism is rare in the UK, recent events clearly demonstrate that an attack could happen at any time or place without warning. The current threat to the UK stands at severe, which means an attack is highly likely.

The ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) campaign from Counter Terrorism Policing, provides advice on how the general public can play their part in tackling the terrorist threat. As part of the campaign, they have created a podcast series, telling previously untold stories of how terrorist attacks on UK soil were prevented thanks to information from the public.
