Influenced by their close proximity to New Scotland Yard, Conrad London St. James Hotel is running an experience for budding crime solvers. You can take part in their mini-detectives experience for families, being run in partnership with The Detective Project. The Detective Project is an activity company with a crime solving theme, run by an experienced former detective in the Metropolitan Police and Avon & Somerset Constabulary, so your little ones will get an authentic taste of the action.

In a room dedicated to investigation, the children will be given a range of challenges focused on the mock crime scene, alongside a personalised brief to get them started. They’ll be given the chance to learn skills including chromatography and fingerprint testing, using professional equipment such as fibreglass brushes, magnetic strips and ink pads, as well as matching and tracing shoe marks, you’ll be taking home a mini Sherlock Holmes!

To remind you of the wonderful time had by all, your little ones will also receive a present to take home. This will include their forensic suits worn on the day, as well as an evidence bag containing a pencil, pad, crime scene tape and detective award, so you’ll never be able to get away with anything ever again.
