Art of the Nova

It’s not ALL about the food at Nova!

A new public art installation was revealed at the end of March (shaped by local SW1 residents, office workers, tourists and commuters). ‘Places for Nova’ is the first major installation by British artist Saad Qureshi. Inspired by themes of landscape and memory, Qureshi has used the real-life experiences of people who work, live and travel through Victoria to inform his project. The British artist invited members of the public to ‘donate’ a memory of a significant place that they no longer have access to, bringing them together into a series of 6 ‘universal mindscapes’ to go on display across Nova’s public realm. The installation is open to the public from Monday 27 March. For more information see: https://createvictoria.com/articles/place-be-public-art-nova-14118
