Young Chef of the Year Competition

M Restaurant are on the search for the UK’s best young chef in their second Young Chef of the Year competition. The competition is open to anyone working in a kitchen under the age of 29 years old. The rising stars will be asked to construct menus representing their personality and style, with the top 50 entrants being invited to M Victoria to make their signature dish and present their menus to a panel of judges. The judge’s scores will comprise 50% of their overall score, with the paying diners counting for the other half of the result.

The competition judges will include Executive Chef Michael Reid and M Founder Martin Williams who will be joined by Andy Lynes, Daniel Watkins, Claudio Cardoso, Adam Handling, Jose Pizarro, Michael Wignall, Selin Kiazim, Cyrus Todiwala and Tom Kemble.

Winners will get the chance to host their own restaurant ‘take over’ at M, as well as jetting off on a trip to Champagne, so get your knives at the ready!
