In Westminster, 69% of young people currently in education have aspirations to work, however just 13.7% under Adult Social Care are in paid employment. It is not only important for businesses to ensure that they overcome any barriers that there may be to employment, but it makes good business sense to recruit from a diverse pool of candidates.
Over breakfast you will hear from Westminster City Council, Camden Society and local businesses who are benefitting from recruiting diverse talent. You will leave the session equipped with knowledge on a range of ways in which your business can proceed to becoming disability confident.
