Putting Positive Psychology into practice with Charlotte Wiseman

Join the Victoria and Victoria Westminster BIDs and Charlotte Wiseman for a talk on Putting Positive Psychology into practice

This interactive session will demystify the notion of ‘Happiness’ as the absence of all problems and reaffirm the understanding that happiness is the “joy we feel striving after our potential.”

Drawing on the research of Michael P. Meredith and Barbara Fredrickson, this workshop will explore and demonstrate how the most effective road to health, happiness and success is through positive engagement. Participants will explore evidence-based methods to ‘learn’ optimism, engage in a ‘growth mindset’ and optimise positive experiences. This collection of skills has been consistently shown to enhance collective and individual success, foster greater resilience, support stronger relationships and improve psychological wellbeing.

Charlotte Wiseman is an applied positive psychology researcher, consultant and trainer known for her pioneering work in the field of mental fitness.
