There is so much more to Victoria than its cacophony of construction and bustling train station. Join us on this 2hr walk to look at the social and creative history of Victoria, incorporating a few of the little gems hidden away in its streets.
It is an area that has been in a perpetual state of reinvention, from the 19th century to the 1990s. Victoria has been degenerated and regenerated, while still retaining its role as one of the gateways to London. And yet there are remnants from the past that remain visible in the present, and this walk will focus on how, despite the ever changing face of Victoria, the area remains important in the story of London.
