The Lead officer on this operation, Police Inspector Ian Rawlins (Westminster South Policing Neighbourhood Policing Team) states: ” I hope that this will provide additional reassurance to local residents, business leads – their employees, and visitors to the area, that Victoria and the surrounding area remains the safest place in central London to live, work, socialise and visit!”.
