Go Wild at Work!

Headline Date 31-05-2017

Thousands of people across the country will be taking part in this month-long nature challenge, and we’re encouraging businesses in Victoria to get wild at work!

The challenge is simple: can you and your colleagues do something outdoorsy everyday this June? Whether you walk to work, schedule an outdoor team meeting, eat lunch in a park, organise a Wild Workday, or watch the city sunset with a post-work gin and tonic – can you embrace a little bit of nature in your daily work life?

Making nature part of people’s personal and work life can improve the health and wellbeing of employees. In 2015 and 2016, The Wildlife Trusts worked with the University of Derby to measure how ‘wild’ people were before they started 30 Days Wild, again when they’d finished, and again two months later. The results were amazing, with people taking part reporting feeling significantly healthier and happier!

The 30 Days Wild business pack is full of ideas to get your workplace involved in the campaign. To get a free pack, please email amaclaughlin@wildlondon.org.uk

We look forward to seeing plenty of wild employees making the most of our neighborhood’s outdoor spaces this month! Click here for more info.
