Headline Date 31-01-2017

On 24 January, Westminster Healthy Workplace team hosted ‘Re-Think Your Drink’ a free breakfast seminar aimed at businesses across Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham & Kensington and Chelsea. Held at Westminster City Hall, a number of issues were discussed during the interactive event including the importance of alcohol awareness in the workplace, the responsibilities and recommendations for employers on alcohol reduction as well as how the London Healthy Workplace Charter could help local businesses. As part of the event, Laura Willoughby MBE (and Co-founder of joinclubsoda.co.uk) gave practical advice on changing behaviours and reducing risks associated with consuming alcohol.

The Healthy Workplace Charter is a free self-assessment addressing eight key areas (alcohol misuse being one), which recognises and rewards employers for investing in workplace health. If you want to stand out as an exemplary employer we offer businesses free guidance to help you meet the standards and gain the Charter Award.
