Victoria’s the perfect place to spend the summer, with open spaces, great shows and plenty on it’s hard to tear yourself away, and with Wimbledon coming up, Victoria’s just getting started. Here’s our guide for where to go and what to do to celebrate and lap up that Wimbledon spirit without having to leave SW1!

A new and exciting choice in the area is Eccleston Yards, where you can sit back and watch that tennis ball to and fro on a big screen from the comfort of a summer deckchair. If that sounds too good to be true, it’s about to get even better, Jones Family Kitchen, based in the Yards are going to be serving up Wimbledon-themed strawberries, food and drink in their terrace, where you can catch a perfect view of the screens.

If you’re looking for a luxurious break from the ball and racket, it’s St. Ermin’s Hotel your going to want to head to this season. With their gorgeous Caxton Terrace Bar, you’ll be spoilt for choice with alcoholic options and quintessential British fare (yes, you guessed it, a refreshing cuppa) as well as scrumptious nibbles. All are served with sophistication and flare, in heavenly surroundings.

Landsec’s Great British Summer series is back providing us with free screenings of Wimbledon matches for all to enjoy at Cardinal Place Roof Garden . To make sure you don’t go hungry, Balans Soho Society are also bringing a pop-up to the roof ahead of their arrival later this summer, serving up selections from their award-winning menu.

Conrad London St. James Hotel will have a Wimbledon inspired cocktail at their Blue Boar Bar. Top Spin, a delectably tangy hit to indulge in, has Pimm’s, vodka, peach, ginger and citrus fruits for an all-round after-tennis beverage to enjoy, whether it’s to celebrate or commiserate with.

If you want to give all that tennis malarke a miss, or if you’re looking for a snack to elevate your viewing experience, why not pay Peggy Porschen a visit? The Summer Collection, full of floral flavours and gorgeous decorations is a safe bet for a gift, or a treat for yourself!
