East – West Cycle Super Highway

Headline Date 01-03-2017

The East-West Cycle Superhighway is part of TfL’s programme of works to make cycling safer and more convenient across London. The route is open in both directions between Tower Hill and Parliament Square, while works are also continuing in Hyde Park and Constitution Hill. Whilst they continue to build the East-West Cycle Superhighway, there will be a temporary closure of Birdcage Walk (eastbound only) from 6th February, to ensure the works are completed as quickly as possible. The works are being completed in phases until mid-March 2017 to keep disruption to a minimum.

As agreed with Westminster City Council, the works will be completed between 08:00 and 18:00 on Monday to Friday, and 08:00 and 13:00 on Saturdays.

TfL would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the works and thank you for your patience while these improvements are completed as quickly as possible.
