First impressions count and ensuring that Victoria's public spaces are reflective of such a prestigious location is of the utmost importance to our business community, and that visitors are welcome within our area.

Ambassadors

The Victoria BID introduced the Ambassador programme across the 110-acre BID footprint in 2011. Outside the main entrance to London Victoria Station, we have a strong visual presence with our Visitor’s Information Kiosk. Our Ambassadors strive to make every visit to Victoria a pleasant, enjoyable and memorable experience. These specialised individuals provide information and a welcoming service 6 days a week and can assist with almost anything, ranging from calculating the fastest and easiest route for a business meeting to the entrance fee and opening times of popular local attractions.

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday  – 09:00 – 18:00

Sunday –  11:00 – 17:00

On Street Cleaning

This service is provided across the Victoria BID footprint to keep the area clean and tidy throughout the day. Our dedicated day and night cleaning teams provide targeted street cleaning and additional services, between 7.30am and 4pm. They also provide a Janitorial Service where local businesses can call the hotline to report spillages, rubbish and overflowing bins they see in the area or request a wash down of their business entrance or pavement. You can contact the Janitorial team on 07934 845 503. With one dedicated team member on standby, the aim is for us to be on-site within 2 hours of a call.

The BID provides, and our teams manage, the removable tables and chairs in Westminster Cathedral Piazza and the branded deckchairs in Lower Grosvenor Gardens and keep both areas litter-free.

Falconers visit the footprint over the year with a Harris Hawk to deter pigeons from key public spaces in the BID footprint including Westminster Cathedral Piazza, Upper and Lower Grosvenor Gardens and Ebury Square Gardens.
