It’s that time of year again!
Chelsea Flower Show is one of the key events in the London social calendar.
The world’s most prestigious flower show, that inspires millions by showcasing the best in garden design, will take place from 23rd to 27th May.
Last year, Victoria BID teamed up with the Sir Simon Milton Foundation to create a garden that demonstrated the role that high quality public spaces play in bringing communities and generations together. The resulting ‘Urban Connections‘ garden highlighted the power of green spaces in reducing isolation and loneliness.
Our three parklets are currently by the passport office near Victoria Station, round the corner on Gillingham Street and on Spencer Street.
This year, Victoria BID will be bringing a little slice of the show to the neighbourhood by creating a garden in Victoria Place Shopping Centre. The mini garden will be on display from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th May.
It is ideally located for those travelling to or from the Chelsea Flower Show via the station. Simply go through Victoria Place Shopping Centre and then take the bus (Buses #170 , #11 or #211 will all get you there in 18 minutes)
Retailers at Victoria Place Shopping Centre are making the most of show by providing a number of special offers during the event:
At Leon’s you will get this week two salads (original, pesto, salmon, chicken or chorizo) for £10.
Receive a 10% discount at Isle of Flowers.
At Frankie & Benny’s you get two mains for the price of one.
