London Unites for Grenfell Tower

Headline Date 02-08-2017

On Tuesday 18th July, Novotel London West hosted a charity dinner to raise money for those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

The dinner was organised by London Unites, a group of concerned hospitality professionals who have been deeply moved by the June event. By pulling together their collective resources, London Unites created an outstanding evening to raise awareness for people who need essential help when it comes to housing and their personal welfare in the community.

Despite being organised within a 4-week period, the event attracted an impressive 500 attendees, which really illustrates how industry can play a pivotal and positive role within the community at large.

Victoria BID attended and supported the event which saw an impressive £104,000 raised. This will be distributed via the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation, The Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund and The London Community Foundation (independent charities who will make sure that ALL FUNDS go directly to those in need).
