Victoria Christmas Carol Concert

Headline Date 01-11-2017

Thursday 14th December will see the 3rd annual Victoria Charity Carol Concert return to Westminster Cathedral. Ticket holders can once again expect a fun and festive night of music and entertainment led by the Westminster Cathedral Choristers and accompanied by the English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble – as well as readings from celebrity guests.

Alongside the angelic sounds of the cathedral choristers, a brass accompaniment will be adding to the outstanding musical line-up and readings by well-known names including Cerys Matthews & Frank Skinner. There will also be late night shopping and special offers across Victoria bars and restaurants.

Last year, the 1,300 tickets sold out quickly so be sure to snap up yours!

The full ticket cost of £15 will be donated to local homeless charity The Cardinal Hume Centre.

The Cardinal Hume Centre was founded over thirty years ago. They support homeless young people, vulnerable families, refugees, asylum seekers and disadvantaged individuals. They give people the support and skills they need to overcome poverty and homelessness. They have a hostel for young people aged 16-25; a family service supporting disadvantaged children with their homework and running fun and engaging activities during the holidays; and adult education services, including free English language classes, one-to-one literacy and numeracy support, and computer training. The Cardinal Hume Centre also offers immigration and housing advice and has an employment service that supports people into sustainable work.

Each year, they help over 1,400 people turn their lives around. You can read more about their work and the people they help at www.cardinalhumecentre.org.uk.
